About the role
This is where a lot of our senior people started. You'll support the close for international clients — reconciliations, AP and AR, payroll runs — with a senior reviewer checking your work and explaining the why behind it. You'll learn US GAAP and modern cloud accounting on real engagements, not exercises.
It's a panel position: we place you when a matching client engagement begins. We'll always be straight with you about where you are in that process.
What you'll do
- Support the monthly close for a portfolio of international clients
- Prepare bank, credit card and payment-processor reconciliations for review
- Process AP and AR transactions accurately and on schedule
- Assist with payroll runs and supporting schedules
- Keep client records and documentation tidy and audit-ready
- Follow documented processes and flag anything that looks wrong
What we're looking for
- 0–3 years of accounting experience — including fresh graduates
- A grounding in double-entry bookkeeping and reconciliations
- Comfortable spoken and written English
- Willing to work an overlap with US business hours
- Residing in Pakistan and legally able to work here
- Genuinely willing to learn — we train on the platforms
Nice to have
- Any exposure to Xero or QuickBooks Online
- ACCA, ICMA or CA (part-qualified or studying)
- Internship or articleship in an accounting practice
- Excel beyond the basics
What we offer
- Structured training on Xero and QuickBooks Online, with certification support
- Senior review on your work — you'll be taught, not left to guess
- A genuine, documented route from Associate to Specialist
- Work from our Lahore office or remotely from anywhere in Pakistan
How we hire
Application (10 min) → eligibility review (5 working days) → 20-min video call → 90-min supervised practical test with a short discussion → 30-min final interview. Typically two to three weeks end to end.
